Lenovo A600: World’s Slimmest Computer

on 26 March at 4:34 pm

All in one PCs are gaining popularity after the success of iMac. We had seen the launch of Suttle X50 a few days back and now Lenovo has also a similar all-in-one PC to deliver. That is IdeaCenter A600.
It is sleek and world’s slimmest all-in-one PC as it is only an inch thick at its slimmest point. I’ve found it useful for both work and entertainment. It comes up with Intel Core 2 Duo CPU, an optional ATI Radeon graphics card, 4GB DDR3 RAM and the amazing storage of upto 1000TB. You will find the 21.5 inch (1920×1080) HD display pretty cool with 16:9 ratio.
An interesting thing is that it has a remote control which can be used as a game controller, a VoIP handset and an air mouse to point the objects on the screen. Blue ray player, HDTV tuner and Windows Vista are optional though.

I don’t know why but all-in-one desktops are trending towards the wireless cinnectivity and so does Lenovo Idea Center A600. It has not only Wi-Fi but also a 6-in-1 media card reader like most of the laptops. It has also a built-in webcam and VeriFace™ facial recognition, making it a true all-in-one PC. The facial recognition system can also be used to set your face image as the login password.

Price tag is $999 as announced by Lenovo.
