Review: QuickOffice iPhone App

QuickOffice iPhone app for editing MS Word and MS Excel files on your iPhone. It looks amazing at the first look because you can now edit or create Word and Excel files on the go but it does not support the new formats of .docx and .xlsx. Landscape mode and copy/paste over iPhone OS 2.2 is supported. Yes, you don’t need to upgrade to iPhone OS 3.0 to get copy and paste but it only works within the app. Creating files, typing and formatting is pretty cool but uploading files from your PC is a bit learning curve. But it is interesting in the sense that you have to upload via your local network so it doesn’t matter either you are a Mac or a PC user.

It is really a breakthrough for me because I always want to edit MS Word files on the go. I had been editing them on my Windows Mobile smartphone and had been wanting some Symbian app for this purpose but didn’t find one. Now QuickOffice seems to solve my problem!
