“CrunchPad”, Launch Prototype Revealed
CrunchPad is what Michael Arrington of TechCrunch suggested on July 21, 2008. Have a look on the original article to know what actually, the device is all about. It is in fact a super smart, super affordable touch tablet that boots directly into the browser. With a capability of video playback via flash and all the cool stuff that a browser can have, it is going to be a Linux based gadget which I hope, will re-invent the ongoing netbook rush.
TechCruch showed off two prototypes in the past and this time it is promised to be launched in a few weeks.
Have a look at this demo of CrunchPad

Now the latest digitally drawn images of CruchPad are very sleek. I liked the 18mm thickness of the device and the promised flush of the screen.
If the device is exactly what shown in the images, then it is really worth a try. $299 is really a good price tag.
