Intuit GoPayment App Turns Palm Pre Into A Credit Card Terminal

Intuit, a mobile credit card processing service provider has added a support for Palm Pre. Out of their two methods of service, one is via the mobile phone browser and the other is via an installed app on a mobile phone. They have made an app for the Palm Pre which can be downloaded from the on-device app catalogue. Palm Pre is listed at their supported devices and with the app installed, you can charge customers anywhere over the Sprint network!

The app runs on favorite gadget, the Palm Pre without the need of any extra hardware. You just need a merchant account with GoPayment. Transactions made using GoPayment are secure and the service holds a CTIA award. If you just want to try the service and not a full-time out-of-office merchant, then the service might not be useful for you because the monthly charges are $19.95 with a one-time setup fee of $59.95
