MacBook Air Now Supports Replaceable Batteries
Apple has just released an SMC Firmware Update 1.2 for Mac OS X 10.5.7 on Macbook air. This update is unique in the way that it modifies the power functions of the Macbook air, so you are able to replace the native batteries of your beloved gadget. Apple will be releasing a new series of replaceable batteries for Macbook Air. No word about the specifications of those new batteries but they will soon be available at Apple retail stores and auth0rised agents.
Since Apple’s Macbook Air is a unique gadget of its kind and the slimmest laptop computer of the world, it has some service restrictions. Batteries were not replaceable up to now and there’s no buit-in CD drive too. It is now a great news for Macbook owners, they can now enjoy new batteries if the drain-out time of the older ones has decreased!
