Sony Ericsson had announced its Cyber-shot C905a phone about a year ago, Americans had been desperately waiting to get their hands on this high hi-fi gadget. Now the wait is over and you can get one from your near by AT&T store on 19th July.

Sony Ericsson Cyber-shot C905a is an 8.1 megapixel camera phone and has got most of the features of a cybershot camera. It has got a 2.4inch scratch-resistant display, a Xenon flash, stereo bluetooth, built-in GPS with AT&T navigator, 3G/HSDPA and obvious access to AT&T broadband services like Cellular video, AT&T video share and AT&T Mobile Music.

Being a non-smartphone gizmo, it may not be compared to Android or Nokia smartphones but it has got many interesting settings to please you. e.g panorama stitching, several scene modes, macro focus, red-eye reduction, face detection, GPS geolocation tagging and BestPic to capture 7 successive photos. The music player is really a killer with categories for audiobooks and podcasts. Sound quality is nice but it doesn’t have  a 3.5mm standard headphone jack, instead it has Sony Ericsson’s proprietory headset connector.

And yes, it will really please you with its photo quality. AT&T is selling it for $179.99 obviously after a mail-in rebate and a two year agreement.

Visit the Sony Ericsson’s official C905a page for more details about the phone.
