Philips 9664 Wi-Fi TV
Televisions are evolving drastically and in many cases, there’s no difference between a compute and a TV. Philips has announced a new arrival in the line of its display gadgets, the Philips 9664 LCD, Wi-Fi TV. What is this wi-fi for? You can access web and internet videos right from your TV. Philips has a service called NetTV widgets that offers content from YouTube, eBay etc., via a broadband connection.
Philips 9664 is an innovative gadget, having pretty full HD (1080p), 200Hz motion and an impressive 1ms response time. You’ll definitely find your videos in all new cool gesture at 80,000:1 contrast ratio. There is a 15W speaker built-in on either side of the TV. It has 5 HDMI ports as well as PC links.
Its body is also very slick and compact at only 49mm thickness. How much should it cost, by the way? Your expectations are totally wrong! The Philips 42 inch model (42PFL9664) comes at whooping $2,790 and the 47 inch model (47PFL966) at $3280. Not available yet, but is expected to hit the markets soon.
