CrunchPad Specifications?

CruchPad is a touch screen tablet proposed by Micheal Arrington. We had a detailed coverage of the gadget quite sometime ago. In fact there are three prototypes of the device but it is not yet confirm if the fourth one will be the final product or there are some more prototypes to go.

dchieng.com claims to have its hands on a chrunchPad and reveals the specs too. But I suspect the matter because it is not yet clear if it is the final version or not. CrunchPad Specifications mentioned are:

Dimensions: 12.77 x 7.83 x 0.74″

Weight: 1.2kg

Screen: 12″

Hardware: 1.6GHz Atom & 1GB RAM

Software: Webkit browser/operating system, developed by the Fusion Garage team

Peripherals: 1x USB port built-in, for keyboard or mouse

Connectivity: WiFi & 3G, with option for mobile broadband

Price: Unconfirmed, estimated US$399 (approx. S$575)

After having a look at the specs, you’ll come to know that they are very less likely to be legitimate! Why? Because the CrunchPad is supposed to be ultra light and ultra portable, not too heavy to weigh 1.5 kgs. Most of the other things are those which are already announced by TechCruch or may be the guesses.

Let’s see how TechCruch reacts to this rumor.
