Analyst Gets His Eyes on Apple Tablet?

An anonymous analyst told Barren’s that he’s seen an Apple tablet and it will be publicly announced by Apple in September 2009 for official release in November this year. Apple’s tablet is being rumored a lot these days. It is supposed to be a 10 inch large sized iPod touch. Barren’s qoutes:

“One veteran analyst who has seen first-hand a prototype slate-style computer from Apple says the device could be announced in September for release in November,” the story reads. “Whatever the exact dates, the computer industry is so anxious to see what Apple introduces that it has held off on competing designs until Apple CEO Steve Jobs gives the device his final blessing.”

With all this scenario, it seems just a hype created by lame rumors. Nothing seems to be legitimate. Apple is not a company of dumbs to produce a larger version of its existing product and call it a tablet PC. I had written a post about “Mac Slate: Apple Tablet Concept” and I still believe that if an Apple tablet ever comes out, it would be similar to that concept.
