How To: Enable Palm Pre Like Activity Cards on Your Jailbroken iPhone with ProSwitcher [Video]

Ryan Petrich and chpwn from modmyi.com had announced a few days back that they were developing an iPhone app that would enable users with the Palm Pre like multitasking activity cards. So now they have released the public beta of the app called ProSwitcher.

Inspired by the palm pre’s activity cards, this app brings the similar experience to your iPhone. It is a multitasking app like the multifl0w but with a better performance and better look and feel. You can swipe to scroll through the opened apps, flick to close and tap to open. You can also close an app by tapping the X button.

ProSwitcher reportedly consumes less momory than Multifl0w. It is comparatively stable and users are pretty happy with it.

Chpwn announced that the first release of the app on 19th and later Ryan announced the v 0.7.3 with bug fixes. Proswitcher is currently available at cydia at http://booleanmagic.com/repo with LGPL liscence. Try it out and if you have any problems to background the apps you need to install the backgrounder app as well.

Update 1: ProSwitcher is faster than Multifl0w, it is more stable but it is a battery killer. Multiple users using it have tipped us with this problem.
