How To: Install & Configure HP Mini 110′s Bluetooth On Windows 7

March 20, 2010 at 2:57 am

If you have an HP mini 110 you’d obviously know that it has issues with windows 7. The official drivers available at the HP download site do not work right away for many things including bluetooth, card reader and 3G. Here’s a simplest step by step guide to installing bluetooth drivers on your HP mini 110 on windows 7.

It shouldn’t take you more than a few moments to get your bluetooth kicking.

1. You need to install Intel Chipset 945 utility as a prerequisite. Download it from Intel and install. If the download link is not working for you, simply search the web/ intel site for “infinst911autol.exe”.
2. Download these bluetooth drivers from HP.com and install. Again, if the download link isn’t working for you, simple look for “sp44774.exe”.
3. Restart your HP mini 110 and your bluetooth should be kicking on next boot. Enjoy!

I am experimenting with the card reader and the 3G module too, so you can expect a guide on them soon. Don’t forget to leave a comment below to let us know if this guide worked for you or not.
