AT&T Unintentionally Confirms Next iPhone Launch Date?
By now we know most of the things about the next gen. iPhone. We have seen its pictures, we saw a hands-on on video, we got it torn apart. We already know about the iPhone OS 4. Their is hardly anything we don’t know about it yet. Don’t we? Oh yah, we didn’t know the exact launch date yet. We’ve had only guesses. Steve Jobs has been announcing the previous iPhone versions at WWDC in June of each year. So we were expecting for the next iPhone.
Now, it seems that we have a clue from AT&T’s records. Since the iPhone 3GS launch date, AT&T has been displaying the upgrade date to be 11/21. But for some users, it has been changed to 6/21.
A MobileCrunch reader found it and according to him some of his colleagues have observed the same thing. Not all users have got this new date though. Do we consider it as the official announcement? Most probably yes. We have our fingers crossed.
Unlike last year we don’t have any clue of Yerba Buena Arts Center booking by Apple. We are eagerly looking for more clues.
