Thought Kindle Was The Only App For Awesome Reading On a PC? MartView Is Also There!

MartView is an interesting app that gives the reading experience a new twist, the iPad way. Geared up to provide more options in reading interaction, this new app offers a bunch of great intuitive features that can easily be implemented using a mouse + scroller. Touch screen is supported as well but isn’t compulsory for the well functioning of the app.

Martview is said to provide features such as:

- Horizontal & Vertical Slider viewer as seen on the video below. The feature is basically a slider mode that helps scroll through pages and gives a zoom in and out option. (Video Demo)

- Flipping mode: That’s seriously the coolest feature, giving the reading experience a reality touch. (Video Demo)

- Downloadable magazines covering more than 20 genres. All the downloads are stored on your PC so you can go back and view time any time you wish

- The possibility of creating ebooks (in multiple formats as .pdf .jpg .png and more) and sharing them with users around the world

- You can also view any PDFs you already have on your PC.

Beyond the unique user experience, the app is free to download and comes with a bunch of free downloadable magazines as well. The down side is: it’s not available for any other OS than Windows and it’s not ready for the iPad yet.

My take on this? MartReview is a really interesting app worth the check out and the follow-up for sure.
