Android 3.0 GingerBread UI Screenshots Revealed?!
Google is supposed to release the next version of Android – most probably Android 3.0 – in the fourth quarter of 2010. But we already have our hands on the screenshots of the UI that Android 3.0 a.k.a Gingerbread has to offer.
During the Android 2.2 keynote at the I/O event, Google told us that Foryo was out. We got so much excited and found ourselves sunk into the Froyo’s delicious flavor that no one noticed the ‘future plans’ for Android. Well, we had something interesting. During the presentation, we were given a ‘sneak preview’ of what was coming after Froyo and that’s where the real thing lies. Here are the screenshots taken from the video of Froyo key note.

As we know that Gingerbread is coming in Q4 this year, I don’t think there’d be any intermediate Android versions. So these are very much likely to be the Gingerbread screenshots. They don’t have much to offer but at least we can quench our thirst of ‘future knowledge’.
Here are some Froyo screenshots from the same video.

Difference is not too much. However, there is not only the ‘Google Search’ and ‘Help’ button difference. There is a lot different in the interface and button designs too. Obviously we are looking at the default Android interface and not any enhanced versions like the Sense UI.
While you wait for the Gingerbread spice, you can have some frozen yogurt in the meanwhile.
Thank you Haris for grabbing this Gingerbread. Did I call you a food monster? Oh, I am sorry!
