So that’s happened again. The whole blogosphere has been riding the rumor bandwagon against the new Qik video chat service. It was being rumored that customers would have to pay an extra $4.99 per month for the new Qik two way video chat service on HTC EVO 4G. Originally posted by AndroidGuys, the rumor made it’s way to all the major tech, gadget and android blogs including Engadget. We were a little skeptical about the news so we didn’t accompany them in helping spread the rumor. Thank God!
Qik On HTC EVO 4G - Rendering
Qik, took the notice and has now officially told us that there’s no need to worry about the new two video chat service from Qik. It would be free for average HTC EVO 4G user, just some premium features would require you to scratch your wallet a little. There’s no word on how much the service would cost, however. I assume that it’d be the same $4.99 per month as rumored.
Also, Qik hasn’t told us that what are those premium features of the two way video chatting on the HTC EVO 4G. Are they really some premium features or just a few facilities being stripped off from the basic free version? I vote for the latter. Details will be unveiled on June 4 when HTC EVO 4G actually hits the market.
Well, basically there’s no need to worry potential EVO 4G owners! Peace! You should better know that the EVO 4G has already been rooted!
