Motorola Droid X Vs iPhone Vs HTC EVO 4G Vs Droid Eris

We are hearing about another upcoming Motorola phone, the so-called ‘Motorola Droid X’. This is a new arrival in the already on going rumors of Motorola Droid 2 and Motorola Droid Shadow. Some are assuming that Motorola Droid Shadow is the same phone as Motorola Droid X but we are not sure about this yet. We have however, the details and high quality photos of Motorola Droid X.

Motorola Droid X is going to have a 4.3 inch screen, a 750Mhz TI OMAP3630 processor, Android 2.1, HDMI out, HD video recording etc. The specs are all same as rumored about the Shadow. So it can possibly be the Motorola Shadow. We don’t have the camera resolution known yet but it shouldn’t be any less than 8MP. It is a large phone with a embossed back having the camera lens and the Flash light. It is coming to Sprint for sure.

We already think HTC EVO is a such a large phone but Droid X seems to break all the records. Compared to iPhone, you’d find Droid X a giant. The Droid Eris also seems like a kid in front of Droid X.

With this much huge phones like Dell Streak, HTC EVO and Motorola Droid X, Android seems to be moving towards the ‘portable’ gadgets instead of ‘mobile’ gadgets. Why not call’em MIDs instead of Smartphones? If Dell Streak is an MID why not Droid X?

    I have had my droid since december however had to get a substitute because the software ruined my telephone when it updated itself. So evidently having troubles & discovered this excellent site lol i do have a questio tho…my ram storage is gettin smaller & smaller..is there nethin i can do to help get sum again?

    HTC Evo Winds hands down!! Has a Bigger Screen, Has a Faster Processor, Has a Better Camera, Is a WiFi Hotspot, Has HDMI out, Don’t have to live on At&t, oh and if has a kick stand!

    I have already been feeling a minor heat this morning from a few folks not seeking to think that the Droid X inventory may be limited on release day, as we noted earlier. Well we’ve just got 5 additional screenshots from 5 pretty major markets as well as I would say once more that stock looks to end up being pretty minimal to me. A few of the main retailers have up-wards of 60 units, but a few may only have 5 devices. Now probably these quantities tend to be preceding average for a Verizon wireless introduction, but for a gadget this large, I guess I simply figured stores would have tried to have already been overstocked.

    I officially can’t delay for this smart phone, just only two days left and I just wish I can get my hands on one,. I have been recently reading a lot about the Google android 2.2 update which will come in August, just one more reason to be excited about this fantastic phone. Motorola and Verizon wireless say they will update the phone to Android 2.2 “late summer.” It will probably be an over-the-air update. However out-of-the box on its July 15 launch it may have Android 2.1.

    DONT GET THE DROID FOR ONE REASON, George Lucas has rights to the name “droid” and im sure that he is paid well by the phone makers to use that name.(Read the small print in the commercials) After seeing the new Star Wars movies and what they did to Indiana Jones, the idea of giving him more money is something i cannot be a part of. Therefore my next phone will be the Evo 4G + I already have sprint, and qualify for an upgrade, and have 4G in my area.
