Yep, we told you before the iPhone 4 launch that it will be unlocked and jailbroken as soon as it is released. Apple has been taking the pre-orders since June 15th and the iPhone 4 is shipping to select customers already.

Sure Apple is releasing unlocked iPhone 4 to many countries this time but many people having a subsidized iPhone 4 can’t enjoy that freedom. That’s where iPhone Dev Team comes to rescue. Many people have been asking us about the unlocks of baseband 05.12.01 on iPhone OS 3.1.3. They just need to cheer up and stop caring about iPhone OS 3.1.3. They are going to be treated with iPhone OS 4 all unlocked and jailbroken! The unlock will be out next week. You should already know that all the iOS 4 beta versions have already been jailbroken by the hackers. So ya need to trust’em!

As soon as the carrier unlock for iOS 4 for iPhone 4 and/or iPhone 3GS/3G comes out, we’ll be posting a detailed how to guide. Check back in a few days.
