Video: MeeGo Running on Nokia N900

MeeGo is an open source project backed by the Linux Foundation. It is aimed at saving apparently two failed Linux projects – Intel’s Moblin and Nokia’s Maemo. It combines both of them and tries to bring them in one package. There has been some work going on it for quite a while now. It has been made to run on Nokia N900 successfully.

We can expect more devices in the near future. Let’s see when it starts shipping pre-installed on phones. Who will be the MeeGo pioneer by the way? I guess Nokia, since Intel doesn’t have phones for now and HTC good with Android and Windows Mobile.
