ASUS Windows Phone 7 Phone Leaked in the Wild – Straight from Pakistan!

Here comes a great news! A windows phone 7 based device from ASUS! Interestingly, the device is leaked by a friend of mine. @shaistajafri is a Pakistani activist and twitter user from Karachi Pakistan. She tweeted the following picture of a Windows Phone 7 based device a day ago.

Unfortunately, she has deleted (or changed) her twitter account soon after the news appeared on Gizmodo. Also the photo has been taken down from tweetphoto. The photo caption was hinting that the phone belonged to her brother who has just arrived home from overseas. It seems like she tweeted the pic without her brother’s consent so she had to take it down. The phone however seems a promising one from ASUS.

Though it has been long since I talked to her on twitter, I’d try to contact her through other means and dig out any more news about the phone. If I have anything, I’ll update you guys with Shaista’s permission. Stay tuned and don’t forget to catch me up on twitter or email.
