Samsung Galaxy Android Tablet P1000 Specs & Pictures Leaked; Rocks with Froyo

There has been a rumor in the air about an Android based Samsung tablet. We were much excited to know about it and were eagerly hunting for more information. Now it seems we’ve got some exciting stuff to share with you guys.

First thing first, Samsung Galaxy Tablet is going to be called ‘Samsung Galaxy Tab P1000′. It is powered by Android. There’s no disappointment regarding the OS version. Samsung is smart enough to cook a Froyo to treat us. So Samsung Galaxy Tab P1000 will be running Android 2.2 a.k.a Froyo. Apparently the Froyo build for the Samsung Galaxy tab has leaked in the wild and brings with it the information about the specs of the gadget.

There’s no surprise regarding the CPU. It is just same as Samsung Galaxy S’ 1GHz Hummingbird processor based on ARM11. So what specs do you expect? Yeah, a 480×800 AMOLED screen, a 3.2 MP rear and a tiny (may be VGA) front facing camera. There are all the other goodies you’d expect, like a GPS, wifi, bluetooth, etc.

It seems that the tablet will also support 3G and might make an appearance on Vodafone UK first of all. We are not sure about this info at all so can’t confirm anything on our behalf. Let’s hope for good and wait till the real thing comes in our hands or at least we get official info regarding this one.
