Samsung YP-MB2 Android PMP Specs and Pictures Leaked

There’s a lot of great stuff coming from Samsung these days. After a huge success of Samsung Galaxy S series Android handsets, Samsung seems to be loyal to Android for at least some time in future. Next up is an Android powered PMP (Portable Media Player). Just a rival of iPod Touch.

Samsung’s portable media player is rumored as ‘YP-MB2′. It has all the goodies iPod touch has. Wi-fi, bluetooth, audio, video playback and likes. It has a 4 inch AMOLED screen Samsung specializes in. Rest includes a 1GHz processor. May be the Samsung Hummingbird – the one we find in Galaxy S seires. It looks a lot like an iPod touch from appearance. The topping on the ice is a 3 megapixel rear camera. We obviously expect an accelerometer but no GPS and cellular connectivity.

Apple might have something to show us in its fall event regarding the iPod line but this time it’d be facing a nice competition from its sole enemy – Android!
