Droid 2 getting it’s first OTA update
Droid 2 just made it’s debut for the Android lovers. It surely is the one of the coolest phones out there. We already love it. Sure some reviewers have had concerns regarding its signal strength but for the bigger part of the crowd that doesn’t seem to be a problem. Obviously, the case is very much different from the iPhone 4 antennagate problem. How has this Droid 2 signal thing been with you or you are just fine with it? Doesn’t it seem natural to have the similar issues in different smartphones at the same time? Isn’t it strange that iPhone 4 and top Android phone have got the same problem? Or we have started to put more focus on this specific issue?
Well, whatever is the case, Verizon has cooked an update for Droid 2 owners. If you happen to be one, wait for an update notification in the notification bar of your Droid 2. If you are one having a signal issue, apologies, you are just out of luck. This update has got just little fixes. No address to the signal problem (if there’s any).
For a normal user, this update includes text and picture message scrolling feature which by chance was not there originally. Rest includes visual voice mail setup improvement, contact pictures fix in call log and improved contact sync in corporate Exchange email.
