iPad 2 / iPhone 5?

Apple has introduced new multitouch gestures for the iPad that let you use up to five fingers. Five fingers pinch anywhere to zoom out to the home screen. Swipe up to reveal the multitasking bar. We used to use the home button to navigate to the home screen and view the multitasking bar. Apple has added the working of both the features with the multitouch gestures. Who on earth will need a home button then? You can hold iPad in any direction and it’s screen will rotate accordingly so the home button – potentially wanting you to hold the iPad in a specific direction was a bad idea. Even if it wasn’t that bad, ditching it is really cool.

BGR reports that Steve Jobs didn’t want the home button from the day first of the iPhone birth. He is now going to have his desire accomplished. Possibly there are several such units being tested and worked on in the Apple campus. I don’t know if there’s any chance of leaked photos of this thing but I can’t wait to have at least one.
