ASUS is making a good showing at Computex this year.  The company behind the Eee Pad Transformer, and Slider isn’t just focusing on Android though.  ASUS is well-known for its sleek laptop and netbook designs, as well, and they’ve just added an ultra-thin new laptop to their lineup in the form of the UX21.  The UX21 is 17mm at its thickest point, weighs in at about 2.4 lbs, and is constructed of aluminum alloy for durability.  What could possibly sweeten the pot?  How about the internal components?  When asleep the laptop has a 2 second revive time, a SATA III SSD (solid state drive), USB 3.0 connectivity and it can hibernate for over a week.  You can customize it to work with up to a Core i7 processor as well! No word on pricing or where you can pick one up, but ASUS expects to have the device to market by September.
