Apple iPad Has 89% Of WorldWide and 97% Of US Web Tablet Traffic

Today a company who goes by the name comScore showed the world a detailed table, showing the web traffic in different countries with the specific device used. In the upcoming table, the iPad has about 89% of the worldwide web traffic and 97% of the US web tablet traffic. This shows how much the iPad has dominated the Tablet market , by quite abit. Also comScore have showed us that over 53% of all web mobile traffic has come from iDevice , while Android devices have 36%.

The iPad is currently the dominant tablet device across all geographies, contributing more than 89 percent of tablet traffic across all markets. The iPad’s contribution to total non-computer device traffic is highest in Canada (33.5 percent). Brazil has the second highest non-computer device share of traffic coming from the iPad at 31.8 percent, although non-computer devices account for less than 1 percent of total traffic in the country. In Singapore, where non-computer devices comprise nearly 6 percent of total traffic, the iPad accounts for 26.2 percent of this traffic.

Apple devices have nearly dominated the world in terms of mobile web traffic, especially with the iPad where only about 11% of the world web traffic is left. Most of this 11% comes from Android tablets but this may change in the future especially with the upcoming HP TouchPad.
