With the first day of Google IO done and gone, Android users are looking forward to the slew of custom ROMs that will be coming over the next few months with some Jelly Bean love. Part of the big announcement yesterday was that owners of the Nexus S, Galaxy Nexus, and Motoroloa Xoom would be getting OTA updates to 4.1 next month. If you have a Galaxy Nexus, whether Verizon version, or GSM version, we’ve got some stellar news for you. Our friends over at RootzWiki have released the preview builds of 4.1 JB from Google IO. They’re ready to flash if you’ve got a rooted device.

Things to note before downloading:

  • This is not the official release. This is the preview build, and may not contain all the features.
  • You may experience errors, bugs, crashes, or loss of butter.
  • By choosing to root and flash your device, you are taking full responsibility for the consequences!
